"Snow can wait, I forgot my mittens.
Wipe my nose, get my new boots on.
I get a little warm in my heart when I think of winter.
I put my hand in my father's glove."
-Winter, by Tori Amos

So, the idea for this one has been rattling around my head for a while. Inspired by the song "Winter" by Tori Amos ( [link] ), I always wanted to kind of illustrate what I see as the feeling of the song. The twilight lighting is supposed to kind of reflect that certain ethereal, almost eerie tone the song has. And also, I just wanted to play around with the background I used for my picture of Corwyn. :D

Oh, and in her hand, she's holding a silver bell. I'm not sure why, it just seemed appropriate.

The pose of the little girl was taken from the fantastic stock gallery of :iconpaigesmum-stock:.

The brushes used for the trees on the horizon (the blurry ones), come from :iconredheadstock:.
